Hosting

The pages of this website, the assets they load and the submissions sent through the contact form are served and processed by Netlify, Inc. on infrastructure located in the United States and in other regions operated by that provider.

Intellectual property

The DeadheadMath name, the mile marker mark, the interface of the application, the page layouts, the illustrations, the icons, the text of this site and the structure of the cost models are the property of MLJ, SASU, or are used with the permission of their owners. They are protected by French and international law on copyright and on the protection of databases.

You may quote short extracts of the editorial content of this site provided you name DeadheadMath and link to the page you are quoting. Any other reproduction, adaptation, translation, extraction of a substantial part of the databases, or commercial reuse of the content requires prior written permission from the publisher. The photographs used on this site are licensed to MLJ, SASU and may not be extracted for reuse elsewhere.

Customer data entered into the application, including cost sheets, rate records and settlement documents, remains the property of the customer. The terms covering that data are set out in the terms of service.

DeadheadMath produces calculations from figures supplied by the person using it, together with routing and fuel reference data. It is a decision support tool for pricing freight, and it is not accounting advice, tax advice, legal advice or a guarantee that any load will be profitable. The carrier remains solely responsible for the loads it accepts, the rates it negotiates, the invoices it issues and its compliance with hours of service and other regulations.

The publisher takes reasonable care to keep the information on this site accurate and current. It cannot be held liable for typographical errors, for temporary unavailability of the site or of the application, for interruptions caused by the hosting provider or by the reader's own connection, or for indirect losses such as missed freight opportunities or lost profit. Links pointing to third party sites are provided for convenience, and the publisher exercises no control over their content.
